Want a Virtual Tour of York? I do, Me me!

Wow I found the coolest site every where you can see a real view point of York and other really cool places. I swear it is just like if you were standing there doind a 360. Actual Education gives the coolest interactive guided tours. Go and check it out, you will not be disappointed!

"Our Interactive Guided Tours let you explore some of the most interesting places in Britain. Sit back, use your mouse to 'look around' the scenes and let the informative, interesting text and accompanying audio explain what you are seeing. If you've ever enjoyed a guided tour when you've gone on vacation then we're pretty sure you'll love our products"

They have locations like Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Paddle Streamer Waverley, Walls of Chester, historic Old Town, Greyfriars Kirkyard, and my favorite The city of York. You can also follow the site on Twitter

There is also a blog called Edinburgh's Darkside which has some neat info on Edinburgh that I think all of you would enjoy especially since it has historical information.

  1. This is SO COOL!!!! My 9 year old daughter would love this too! Thanks for sharing!

  2. This is the best gift I've received in a long while. Thanks so much, Lizzy! Beautiful York Minster reminds me of the book Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. The skill of the stone masons is extraordinary. I'd love to pack my bags, my dog, my husband, etc. and move to Britain. Meet me there?

  3. I wish, I think if I ever make it there I might not leave! That is why I had to post this up I knew everyone would want to see how beautiful it is. I am glad you all enjoyed it.

  4. The city walls at Chester really are amazing to walk around. Did it a few times when lived near there. If you ever get a chance...

  5. Dave,

It is so nice to see you come back for a visit! My first supporter, in the blogspear. I was beginning to wonder if I was able to lure you back in.
