Today In History: Anne Boleyn Crown Queen of England

Today in history: June 1st 1533 Anne Boleyn was crowned Queen of England. Henry VIII moved mountains to be able to marry Anne and even before her death the marriage would be declared void leaving her only child Elizabeth a "bastard".

  2. Allison, I agree she really tried but you have to admit the long term effects of her and Henry's relationship changed the face of the known world. With out Anne Henry never would have separated from the holy see of Rome. The separation was monumental to history because it has had a ripple effect through out history.

    Patty, so so sad I still just can not believe how dang brave she was in facing the most heinous act of betrayal from the one person who is suppose to love you the most. Brave I think.
