The second part of Robin Maxwell's Words of Love challenge opened today. I already posted my comment with my poem, have you?
"This week, in order to win the lovely hand-blown glass heart necklace pictured above, I’m going to ask that instead of searching your own heart for gems of wisdom about love and what it means to you, you find your favorite love quotation from literature, poetry or song and share it with me."
When I was a teenager (over 50 years ago) I read a YA biography of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Ever since then my favorite quote re. love has been the opening lines of the sonnet, "How do I love thee, let me count the ways."
ReplyDeleteI too love that one, it is beautifully eloquent.
