Thank you Lucy for hosting this wonderful new challenge, I am going for La Reine: Read 9 books. Since I know of at least five that are French that I had already planned on reading I am going big this year.
YaY!!! I'm so happy that you're part of this! It's true that this year in particular, we're getting so many good French ones to read:)
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be so much fun! Thanks Lizzy:)
I am going to do this one too :) I am signing up for way to many challenges lol. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou are either very optimistic or much stronger willed than I am in calling this your last challenge of 2010.
ReplyDeleteI am intending to sign up for this one as well!
I way went over board last year and the only way I am going to do another one is if I am going to die with out it.
ReplyDeleteVery stubborn here.
Cool I love that Lucy is doing this I really want to get into France more this year.
Yeah, you say "LAST" now...I'll remind you of that when you join the next one ;-) Me? I can't stop either! Especially when it's hosted by the sweetest woman ever!
ReplyDeleteHey - which 5 are you planning to read? I need some ideas!
I know I more than likely going to eat my own words on this one.
ReplyDeleteFive hu?
Courtesan by Diane Haeger
The Secret Life and Sorrows of Josephine B. by Sandra Gulland
Confessions of Catherine De Medici by C.W. Gortner
Not sure if this one qualifies but The Loves of Charles II is 3 books in one and so far the whole first book is in France.
Cassandra, Lost by Joanna Catherine Scott
Royal Harlot by Susan Holloway Scott
I know I am so bad i have not read some of the BEST HF set in France. I am upset bout it too because I own these books and never seem to have enough time to get to them. Hopefully this year will be different.
