Marie Antoinette Masquerade Ball

Oh Marie, I just can not leave you alone these days. I have been waiting to get this one up. I think this one will have to be my new favorite. I went back to my normal style for her , color pencil. Then I scanned her into my computer and in photoshop added the blue circles. I think she turned out quite lovely. Worthy of making prints.

  1. Gorgeous! I totally understand why you can't leave Marie alone. She and I share a birthday.

  7. Yes! I noticed the hidden MA in the skirt (before I read the comments!). It reminded me of the Hirschfeld caricatures in the New York Times where he would conceal his daughter Nina's name in his drawings and it was always a game every Sunday to see how many "Ninas" he'd hidden in the drawing!

    I love your art, Lizzy!
