I can not handle too real violence. I read a book in college by Truman Capote called In Cold Blood, a true story of a family that was murdered in Kansas back in the 50's or maybe 60's. Either way the whole family was murdered by robbers and all is what they got was a .50 cent piece. That book scared the CRAP out of me.

My mom had it at her house and I saw it on the shelf and left it their! My husband calls me"puss puss" but I do not care, I do not even like scary movies let alone books. Gives me the willies just thinking about it!Lizziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06610444517085989215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319886081447332049.post-55566590353143902972009-08-13T18:59:17.350-07:002009-08-13T18:59:17.350-07:00I'd have to say Finn by John Clinch. This is ...I'd have to say Finn by John Clinch. This is no fault of the writer - *nods to Mr. Finch* - I've read reviews by plenty of people who liked this book. The problem is that I'm a pansy, an old-fashioned Pollyanna who had the pants scared off her by the main character. After reading about this guy killing and skinning his wife and setting her afloat in the muddy river - I couldn't sleep. Honestly, I didn't finish the book and I always finish the books I start, but that's a whole other topic.Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473109086492605525noreply@blogger.com
